Greetings to newcomers and returning readers alike.  After a long hiatus brought about by the birth of my daughter and a number of other factors that left me with little to no time to write anything that wasn't directly related to work, I am back at the keyboard and committing to maintaining a more regular schedule.  I am continuing to labor under the self-imposed delusion that people are interested in what I have to say, and this blog is the physical manifestation of that pipe dream.    

I have been tinkering with the site design and layout quite a bit.  I anticipate doing a pretty massive redesign in the next three months, but only time will tell.  I have disabled commenting for the time being--mostly because I got sick of dealing with removing a hundred spam comments per week, and I don't have to time to write and moderate online discussions.  This just seemed like the best solution for the time being.  I have also eliminated some of the lesser used pages and some of the archive menus, as they were drawing little interest in comparison to others.

As is customary in these site updates, I will also share the most bizarre search queries that brought people to this site.  As always, I am cutting and pasting the search queries exactly as they were entered.  Here are some of my favorites:

- картинки кот mma  -  That's right, Cyrillic!  And this search query actually brought two separate surfers to this site.  It's undoubtedly related to the Historic Russian Ads Translated post I did some time ago.

- where to pick up shemales in tijuana mexico?  -  Excellent.  So this proves I'm reaching my target demographic.  Obviously a result of the Tijuana story.

- animals in vagina  -  Whoa.  Didn't see that one coming.  It surely is a result of this.  

- where tompickmup tranny hookers in tijiauna  -  That's just great.  Not only does my blog attract perverts, but it attracts perverts who can't type.

- spectre moose  -  Perhaps the most terrifying of all apparitions.  It must lead here.

- how do i get my cuban across the border from tijuana  -  I'm sensing a theme with my readers.  Do I only cater to felons?

- lindsay lohan satan  -  Ha!

- trannies tijuana  -  Seriously, people.  Give it a rest!

- "the dirk nowitzki of"  -  I love this one.  It was probably as a result of my mention here.

And finally...

- taco bell advice  -  Did someone actually need to consult the internet to make an informed decision about Taco Bell?  Well, I suppose that's what I'm here for.

Because it keeps popping up as a source of traffic, I have learned via Google Translate that "картинки кот mma" translates to "MMA cat pictures."  Thus, this search query is leading my Russian brethren to this post.
