California is Burning and Athletic Vegetable Throwing
Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 6:04PM I am currently sitting in LAX Airport. I did a corporate show earlier, and I am now awaiting my flight home. I observed much of LA at a complete standstill yesterday as a result of the Michael Jackson funeral, and today I sat in gridlocked traffic on the 101 as a small mountain burned nearby. Helicopters kept flying water in to try to douse the flames, but it was doing little good. California is a state always hanging in the delicate balance between burning and not burning. It's amazing that this is the state with the highest population, as it seems nature is bent on destroying the entire coastline as soon as possible.
To cheer up a Michael Jacksonless world, I give you this picture:

Why Korn Toss Jr.?
1. Because you're never truly a man until you've tossed another man's corn.
2. Korn Toss Sr. is too intense for the web.
3. Throwing and Spelling are mutually exclusive.
Enjoy. Assuming the state isn't consumed by wildfires, locusts, or Michael Jackson impersonators, I should be home this evening.
