I Can Even Make the Internet Awkward
Monday, July 20, 2009 at 12:06AM Many readers in the Minneapolis area are already aware of/read the blog of Brave New Workshop performer Mike Fotis. On Friday, Mike wrote a post centered around yours truly. I don't think anyone has ever blogged about me before. It felt creepy.
The post was centered around suggestions for starting conversations with me. Mike wrote this post because I am notoriously hard to start a conversation with. Actually, that's not true. I'm very easy to have a conversation with, it's just that the conversations I will engage in are not the ones most people try to start. It has been said that everyone falls into one of two categories: those who talk about ideas, and those who talk about people. Most people talk about people. I fall into the other category.
At any rate, Mike's blog posts typically generate a great many comments from his readers. After his post about me, there was only one comment--from me.
Conclusion: I am so adept at destroying conversations, I can even do it from a remote location. I am the only man alive who can make the internet awkward. Sad.
