Why I Hated Mr. Rogers

I grew up in an area where my TV choices were fairly limited.  I would only see Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood occasionally when visiting friends or relatives in more technologically advanced urban areas.  For some reason, I hated the show violently from the moment I saw it--even as a small child.  I never knew why.  Until now...
